Instructions for Authors:
The Proceedings of IIRTS'2019 will be published as a volume of the Springer's series of Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering, titled 'Innovations Induced by Research in Technical Systems'.
Paper preparation using the Book Chapter template:
Springer provides templates for Word and LaTeX users that help to structure the paper, e.g., define its structure, styles and heading hierarchy. Predefined style formats are available for all the necessary structures that are supposed to be part of the paper, and these formats can be quickly accessed using shortcut keys or special toolbars.
Note: The template is not intended for the preparation of the final page layout. The final layout will be created by Springer according to our layout specifications.
Please format your papers in accordance with the template below. Manuscript length should be within 10-15 pages.
The downloadable zip archive contains:
- PDF file of the instructions explaining how to work with the MS Word.
- MS Word template for your paper: splnproc1703.docm.

Policies & guidelines for avoiding plagiarism and self-plagiarism:
The Authors are requested to avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism in their submissions. Your can find in the Internet numerous guidelines e.g. 'Avoiding plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other questionable writing practices: A guide to ethical writing'
by Miguel Roig, Ph.D.
The IIRTS Conference uses Crossref Similarity Check software powered by iThenticate. The Authors are requested to try their best to reduce the similarity index as much as possible. Similarity of less than 25% is usually acceptable given that the original publications are cited and permissions are received by the corresponding rights holder, and that the presented work is overall an original one.
